A: Our leases are designed to give you total flexibility.  We offer month to month leases and require no advance notice for you to vacate.

 

Q: How do I pay my rent? What are the payment terms?   Back to top


A: We recommend automatic deduction from your credit or debit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. You may also pay by cash or check. Payments are due monthly on your lease date which is noted on your contract.

A: Allow one of our storage experts to determine the right size to suit your needs.  Call us at 866-229-3789 and one of our associates will determine the space size. We’ll even come to your home or office to take a close look at the items to be stored and determine the right size for you – for Free.

A: Westy offers daily free access during business hours.
Monday – Friday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Saturday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Sunday 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM

 

Q: What type of security features do you offer?      Back to top


A: We offer state of the art security with central station monitoring.  There is 24 hour camera surveillance and uniformed associates are always on site during access hours.

 

Q: Do you have access to my space?      Back to top


A: Westy does not have access your space, only you hold the key or combination.

 

Q: Do you offer insurance for my stored belongings?     Back to top


A: We do not insure the contents of your storage room.  Insurance is generally covered or available by your home owners/renters insurance. You should check your policy for coverage specifications.

 

Q:Are your buildings climate controlled?      Back to top


A: Yes, our buildings are climate controlled. In addition, we are temperature controlled, heated and air conditioned.  Our units are all indoors protecting your items from outside elements.

 

Q: Will you move my items or do I have to do it? How do I move things into my space?     Back to top


A: You are responsible for handling your items however we do have a truck available for your use.  You can also take advantage of our free Mover Concierge Service.  We will put you in contact with a Westy Certified Mover and negotiate an excellent rate for you.

 

Q: Do you provide moving carts to help me move my belongings?    Back to top

 
A: Multiple carpeted moving carts are available for use at each of our locations.  They hold up to 2,000 lbs and are free of charge.

 

Q: Are the elevators large enough to move furniture?      Back to top


A: Our custom made elevators are oversized stainless steel to accommodate large items.

 

Q: Can I buy boxes and other packing supplies at Westy?    Back to top


A: We sell storage boxes in 3 different sizes:

- Book Box 12" x 18" x 12" / 1.5 cu. ft.

- All Purpose Box 18" x 18" x 16" / 3.1 cu. ft.

- Legal Tote 15" x 24" x 12" / 2.5 cu. ft.

 

We also sell packing tape, bubble wrap and packing paper to assist in your packing.
