Billing & Payment

Do you have short term leases or do I need to sign up for a year?

Our leases are designed to give you total flexibility. We offer month to month leases and require no advance notice for you to vacate.

What are the payment terms?

Payments are due monthly on your lease date which is noted on your contract.

How do I pay my rent?

We recommend automatic charge from your credit or debit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. You may also pay by cash or check.

How much notice do you need when vacating?

For your convenience, we do not require advance notice when you vacate. Simply stop by the office and we will take it from there.

How often can I visit my space?

Westy offers daily free access during business hours.
Monday – Saturday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Sunday 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM

What type of security features do you offer?

We offer state of the art security with central monitoring. There is 24 hour camera surveillance and uniformed associates are always on site during access hours.

Do you have access to my space?

Westy does not have access your space, only you hold the key.

Can I give access to a member of my family?

Yes, you can give access to a family member by providing them with your 6 digit security code and the key or combination to your lock.

Will my items be protected from changes in moisture and temperature?

Our buildings are temperature controlled, heated and air-conditioned to ensure your items will vacate the same way they came in. Our units are all indoors which protects your items from outside elements.

What are your hours of operation?

Monday – Saturday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Sunday 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Only closed: New Year’s Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas

Please note entrance gate automatically closes 15 minutes prior to closing time.

Services & Supplies

How do I determine what size space I need?

There are many ways for you to determine how much space you need. We offer an online space calculator and room diagrams or you can allow one of our storage experts determine the right size to suit your needs. Call us at (888) 893-7897 and one of our associates will determine the space size. We’ll even come to your home or office to take a close look at the items to be stored and determine the right size for you – for Free.

Do you offer insurance for my stored belongings?

We do not insure the contents of your storage room. Insurance is generally covered by your home owners/renters insurance. You should check your policy for coverage specifications.

Will you move my items or do I have to do it? How do I move things into my space?

You are responsible for handling your items however we do have a truck available for your use. You can also take advantage of our free Mover Concierge Service. We will put you in contact with a Westy Certified Mover and negotiate an excellent rate for you.

Do you provide moving carts to help me move my belongings?

Carpeted moving carts are available for use at each of our locations. They hold up to 2,800 lbs and are free of charge.

Are the elevators large enough to move furniture?

Our custom made elevators are oversized stainless steel to accommodate large items.

Can I buy boxes and other packing supplies at Westy?

We sell storage boxes in 3 different sizes, tape, packing paper and bubble wrap to assist in your packing.
